My story is looking at how teens deal with distractions such as the internet, cell phones, video games, and tv, and whether or not these distractions affect their work and study habits. I am planning on interviewing teens to see how often they use the internet and their cell phones, and what they do to stay focused on schoolwork in the face of distractions. I want to interview a teacher to see whether or not he or she feels like distractions for teens have grown with the growth of social media and the internet. I also want to see what the policies are for things like facebook and cell phones in local high schools, and if there are any places high school teens can go to study and do homework free from distractions.
