There were two photos I took of Grace Morris that I really liked -- the portrait and the medium shot. I chose this one, the portrait, as my favorite because I like the composition. I think the stairs serve as an interesting background but are not so busy to distract from Grace, the subject of the photo. I also like the lighting, which is not too bright so it doesn't cause harsh shadows, and I like that Grace chose to look away from the camera.

Favorite Photos

I also really like this photo. I like the background because it is interesting and not the norm, but it offsets the colors that she is wearing--even though they are subtle. It's cool that she is offset to the right in the photograph and also looking away. It's a great photo! I do think a little could've been cropped from the left (referring to the weird leaves/rain mess in the left bottom corner.
